Peter worked in education for many years, just like his fellow-musicians Henk Brand en Bram Stellingwerf. He reached the finals of the Loosdrecht cabaret Festival, where he was awarded the Conamus prize for outstanding Dutch lyrics. Even though teaching English was his profession, Peter has always had a passion for the Dutch language as well. There is a good reason for the photography pages to be present here. The hours spent taking pictures of birds and other wildlife, are often moments of reflection and a source of inspiration for new lyrics and new songs.
